In 1967, Anthony Parrella began his venture into the iron business as a
blacksmith in Torino, Italy. He handcrafted artworks using a traditional forging
technique and highly skilled level of craftsmanship. In hopes to explore the
possibilities of America, he moved to New York in 1970 and worked for a
small iron shop for twenty-one years. His goal was to improve upon his craft
using the skills and experience previously learned to create a superior
product. Eventually recognizing his talents and highly qualified experience, Anthony Parrella set out on his
own to open Venezia Iron Works in 1991. Not far behind, Anthony’s son, Pat, shared the same vision to
improve upon his craft utilizing the skills that he learned from his father.
In 1995, Pat joined his father at Venezia Iron Works. Receiving his Associate’s Degree in Design and
Construction, from the New York City Institute of Technology, he contributed his knowledge and education
of the business to expand the company in reaching new heights. Under the partnership of these
administrative leaders, the workers at Venezia dedicate countless hours into each project to ensure the
highest quality of product and complete customer satisfaction. Through their hard work and intricate
designs Venezia Iron Works has been recognized by the "National Ornamental & Miscellaneous Metals
Association" and the "Presidential Who’s Who Among Business and Professional Achievers." "Venezia Iron
Works is solely responsible for all aspects of any project, from estimation to installation, to ensure that the highest level of care and delicacy is always used.
